PONION Munckhof company is a self-propelled fruit picking platform with over 40 years of tradition, guaranteeing efficiency and quality confirmed by official institutions in the EU.
This system significantly facilitates the organization of harvesting, there is no need to unload empty box pallets, and no problems with half-empty or full pallets. Compared to traditional methods, it reduces the number of passes through rows and minimizes soil damage. One picker can harvest between 200 and 300 kg of fruit per hour, while adjusting the height and direction of the harvesting belt to his needs.
In addition to harvesting, PLUK-O-TRAK is also used for manual fruit thinning, pruning, as well as removing and installing hail nets.
Platform harvesting systems HERCULES, TROY and ARCAS Belgian companies BAB, together with fruit trailers, enable lower costs compared to other methods, achieving high yields of 200-300 kg of apples per worker per hour. In addition, the fruit flow is monitored from harvest to sale, and box pallets are never placed directly on the ground.
